The Diabetes Research & Wellness Foundation was recently recognized for our contributions and support for the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute eye screening program in Baltimore, Maryland, run by Dr. Daniel Finkelstein.  DRWF has been supporting Wilmer’s free eye screening program for more than 18 years, and has provided more than $1,000,000 in funding for this important program.  We have provided free screening for retinopathy to more than 7,500 patients and have provided more than 650 free laser surgeries to restore diagnosed patients’ sight.
